I am trying to install the e-con v4l2 driver. When I execute the insmod as root, I get insmod: error inserting 'v4l2_driver.ko': -1 Operation not permitted

What kernel are you using ? 2.6.32, 2.6.34 ?? have you patched your kernel ?

Make sure the Following checklist are
proper

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but just to notify future users, using e-cam56 we experienced same problem, you HAVE to connect power cable to the camera board (may seem obvious but the Caspa camera is powered from the ribbon cable alone) |
