NOOB-Question! I have no booting-messages of kernel

Hi!

I think, this is a little problem, but i dont know, how solve it.

When i start the gumstixboard, during kernel booting it doesnt show any boot messages ?!?

You have your serial communications set wrong:

115200N81
No software flow control
No hardware flow control

thank for reply. i connected my gumstix over putty on my Windows-7-PC. The communication is set:

115200N81
No Software and hardware flow control.

I dont know, where i should start searching. Is this a bootargs-problem or a kernel-image-problem or a  false settings in the rootfilesystem?

Here is the complete boot-sequence, which is shown on putty:

Sorry, don't know anything about Windows 7 :(

Does it come with something like HyperTerm for Windows Xp ??

I know that Putty can be tricky to setup.

You might even try running the Xp version of HyperTerm under Windows 7 ...

PuTTy is marvellous, though you do need to click through a few nodes in the configuration tree to make it work the way you want (default serial config will work with overo assuming you set the COM port name and baud rate correctly).
